Ingredients:

  • 200g of string hoppers
  • 100g of diced chicken
  • 50g of chopped carrots
  • 50g of diced green bell peppers
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of ginger, grated
  • 2 tsp of curry powder
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Ladle

Instructions:

  • Steam the string hoppers in a steamer for about 5-7 minutes until cooked.
  • In a wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add the diced chicken to the wok and cook until browned.
  • Mix in the chopped carrots and green bell peppers, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in the curry powder, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to combine.
  • Finally, add the steamed string hoppers to the wok, tossing everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
